Welcome to my website. I hope it will give Llanelli people the chance to get to know me better and to hear about the work that I do as candidate and also as a local campaigner. And of course, remember, you can always contact me through this website.

Soon we will be facing a London Tory Government. I grew up in Llanelli in the 1980s and I remember all too well what that meant for our communities. Now, in the run up to the election Tory politicians are already goading each other to impose ever more vicious cuts in our public services.

Many Llanelli people tell me they have voted Labour again and again only to see the Tories get in. So we’ve had Tory priorities on policy and Tory policies on spending forced on us.

Then under Labour it’s not been much better. We have already seen huge numbers of good local jobs destroyed and now sick and disabled people are being bullied to look for jobs that just don’t exist.
Our unemployed workers are being blamed for unemployment itself and the level of the old age pension should shame those MPs who are themselves doing very nicely thank you very much!

Labour MPs voted to send our young people sent to fight in far away illegal wars.  Then when they return home scarred by battle the help they get is just not worthy of the sacrifice that they have made.

People in Llanelli are angry that those for whom they’ve voted for so faithfully over decades have failed so completely to stand up for the values of solidarity and fairness that we share.

But we know that really the next election will not be about the Labour party. It has died a dishonourable death and let us leave it at that.

The next election will be about finding Llanelli”s real voice, someone who will stand up for all of us in the face of up to ten years of Tory cuts. Now more than ever, we must protect our communities.

Think about it.

This is an extraordinary town and so many of us are proud to be part of it and work for it every day. This is my town, where I grew up and my family live. I want to work for our community in Westminster because I know and love it.

Nobody should underestimate what we can do when we work together.
